MONTREAL, QUEBEC - MuxLab Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the newest addition to its HDMI line of products; the HDMI over Coax Extender Kit (500465, 500465-RX). This HDMI Extender allows an HDMI source to be connected to an HDMI receiver up to 250 ft (76 m) at 1080p resolution via one coax cable in a point-to-point configuration.

This new Extender provides a solution for various applications such as digital signage, industrial and commercial AV systems, classroom projector systems, boardroom systems and medical information systems.

"This Extender can be cascaded via the Receiver (500465-RX) in order to support multi-display applications" said Marc Bohbot, MuxLab's Director of R&D. "This allows for a wide variety of applications and uses for this new member of our HDMI family".

Some additional features of the 500465 include its ability to support up to 500 ft. (152m) at 1080i/720p resolution and its durable build which makes it ideal for harsh electrical environments.
The transmitter converts HDMI to SDI while the receiver converts SDI back to HDMI. The Extender is cascadable on both the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) sides.
