AURORA MULTIMEDIA INTRODUCES NEW HDBaseT RECIEVER

- Aurora Multimedia's new DXE-CAT-RX3 series adds four new receivers to the One Room - One CableTM product platform.

MORGANVILLE, NJ, June 12, 2013 (Booth 3159) - Aurora Multimedia, a leader in IP control systems and HD video distribution, celebrating their 15 year anniversary introduces its latest HDBaseT CAT Receiver series: DXE-CAT-RX3. The new HDBaseT receiver line ads four models all incorporating dual-relays, line level audio inputs and a de-embedding audio output. Two models add a 2x20W amplifier as well as an embedded Web Control Engine for full system control. All models are made in the USA in Aurora's MFG facility in NJ.

The DXE-CAT-RX3 series puts all this power at the display giving creed to One Room - One Cable™ product platform. Perfect for Classroom and conference room applications, the DXE-CAT-RX3-A mates with Aurora's new DXW-2 series HDBaseT wall plates as well as their other HDBaseT Transmitters creating a complete single room AV system handling AV distribution, display and screen control as well as audio amplification all over a single umbilical. The DXE-CAT-RX3L versions (available with and without 2x20w amplifier) add an IP Based Control system for integration with third party IP capable control systems or standalone web-server tablet control.

One Room - One CableTM solutions include the DXE-CAT Extenders, new DXW-2 wall plates, ASP Scaler switcher, DXM-G2 Matrix switchers and the new DXB-8 button panels. Utilizing products from these categories allow a single CAT-X cable to be connected between source and display with embedded control over Ethernet.

This new group of products brings out the full force of Aurora combining the two driving forces of the company: IP Web-Based Control products and HD Video Distribution into a single platform. For further information, please visit www.auroramultimedia.com.

Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
