Wisdom Audio Recaps ISE 2013

Dear Friends,

Our inaugural participation at ISE 2013 showcasing our architectural loudspeakers was one for the books. We were thrilled to provide International integrators both a first look at our designs and a chance to experience the remarkable clarity and dynamics of our systems. Our range of solutions impressed the interested ISE crowd, ranging from our in-wall Insight Series models, to the award-winning Sage Series to the on-wall LS4 flagship.

The new International connections and customers we added at this show were encouraged by both our technology driven solutions and having regional access to our new Wisdom Audio Europe BV office in the Netherlands.

We also partnered with digital audio processor manufacturer Datasat and demoed an integrated theater experience. The demo highlighted our ideal complement to high definition video, underscoring the benefits of thin-film planar magnetic transducer technology achieving an ultimate theater experience.

The 12-seat theater featured our active L75 Sage Series speakers, bi-amped front stage, in combination with the bi-amped surround channels of P38 Sage Series and SCS subwoofers. Our system worked in unison with Datasat's RS20i Preamplifier/Processor and matching amplifiers. Rounding out the speaker complement was 120-inch acoustically transparent video projection screen from Screen Research and a 3 chip DLP projector from projectiondesign. All loudspeaker cabling and interconnection was provided by Tributaries Cable. The acoustical treatment of the theater was provided by MSR Acoustics.

Again, we would like to thank all the dealers and representatives that were able to make it to ISE and support Wisdom Audio. And to all the other dealers and representatives that couldn't make the trip to Amsterdam, we thank you for your support and continued efforts in helping to make Wisdom Audio an incredible growth story within the high end audio channel these last few years.

PureLink - HCE III TX/RX: 4K HDR over HDBaseT Extension System w/ Control and Bi-Directional PoE

The HCE III Tx/Rx HDBaseT™ extension system offers full HDMI 2.0 compliance supporting HDR (High Dynamic Range) and 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Featuring PureLink's proprietary Prcis codec, a light compression technology, the HCE III can transport Ultra HD/4K, multi-channel audio, and High Dynamic Range (10 bits support) content over a single CATx cable. The HCE III provides HDMI extension up to 130 feet (40 meters) at Ultra HD/4K and up to 230 ft. (70 meters) at 1080p over category cable with embedded multi-channel audio, CEC pass-through, bi-directional RS-232 and IR control, and PoE - all with zero loss and zero noise. The HCE III Tx/Rx also supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio plus LCPM (up to 192 kHz).
