AMX DXLink Wallplate Transmitters Show How Decor Style Should Be Done

Transmitting HDMI/HDCP Up to 100 Meters Never Looked So Good

Amsterdam Netherlands January 31, 2013

At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2013, AMX® announced two striking new additions to the DXLink™ Wallplate Transmitter lineup, new Multi-Format Decor Style Wallplate Transmitters (AVB-DWP-TX-MULTI-DXLINK), available in black and white and being demonstrated this week at the AMX ISE Booth, # 1-F6. Encompassing the same robust features that DXLink Wallplate Transmitters have been heralded for, the new transmitters simply yet seamlessly integrate with Decor Style Wallplates to offer even more installation options for end users.

Continuing its focus on market driven design, AMX committed yet again to ensuring that its customers have what they need to make their application complete. AMX agreed that a Decor Style wallplate transmitter would add many new application possibilities for installation in walls, lecterns and popular floor boxes and for connecting guest equipment to send AV across the room or to the other side of the building.

Although impeccable in its industrial design, these multi-format transmitting powerhouses are better known for their brawn than their beauty.

Transmission of analog or digital HDMI/HDCP video, as well as embedded audio or supplemental analog audio up to 100 meters sum up the true strengths of DXLink. Remotely supplied power over twisted pair cable creates a hassle-free installation experience and adds a multitude of installation possibilities. And just about any format you can throw at them from multi-format analog to digital HDMI is easily transmitted.

Upon learning about the addition of the new Decor Style Wallplate Transmitters to the DXLink lineup, James Fife of Engineering Harmonics shared his excitement: "This is great news for AMX! Major infrastructure pieces like these new Wallplate Transmitters play a large role in usability. They will allow us to provide our clients with additional design options that integrate with the vision of interior designers."
