New Vantage KNX Interface Extends Integration with KNX Certified Systems

The key to integrating KNX devices into a Vantage home automation system----Control virtually any lighting, relay, scene or blind actuator with your existing Vantage user interfaces

Vantage, the industry leader for integrated home automation solutions, announces the release of the Vantage KNX interface. This interface is a versatile bridge between the Vantage Infusion system and KNX systems, making it easy to integrate all KNX based systems, KNX products and functions into a Vantage Infusion system.

KNX is the world's only open standard for home and building control, and the development of the KNX Interface opens a wealth of opportunities for new business with KNX partners involved in installing high-end projects. The KNX Interface provides a gateway to the KNX world and allows the KNX world to take advantage of the power of Vantage systems.
The KNX interface allows third party devices from many different manufacturers of lighting, relay, scene and blind controls to be incorporated in Vantage systems and offers seamless integration into the complete Vantage automation system. The increasing number of products from various KNX manufacturers provides a great diversity of installation options, and more functions can be added to this interface in response to installer/dealer requests and customer demand.

This innovative product gives homeowners full control over their KNX based systems with a minimum of effort and a maximum of style, thanks to the control devices available in the Vantage home automation system. The simple and intuitive interface provides control and feedback to any Vantage touchscreen, iPad, iPhone, Android device, etc. With the push of a button or a simple gesture on a touchscreen, a homeowner can effortlessly control the KNX based devices. In addition, the homeowner receives status feedback visualization from all of these functions.

The interface communicates with the Vantage main controller over a network (LAN) connection. On the KNX side the interface is provided by a KNX bus terminal port. Configuration is performed with Vantage Infusion Design Center and the KNX ETS software, and the interface supports up to 250 group objects (DataPoints) and 10 simultaneous client IP connections.
