CRESTRON EXPANDS SCOTLAND TEAM

Alistair Kelly as Commercial Account Manager and Peter Brown as Business Development Manager

Crestron UK is pleased to announce the growth in Scotland with two new appointments; Alistair Kelly as Commercial Account Manager and Peter Brown as Business Development Manager. Alistair and Peter will be key members of Crestron's expanding UK team, based in Scotland. They draw on over 20 years of wide-ranging experience between them, within the AV and technology industry.

As Commercial Account Manager Alistair will be supporting reseller partners and training programmes, and provide end users with a dedicated solution for their commercial needs. He joins Crestron with a good knowledge of its products and solutions, having worked for over five years at an AV conferencing distributor. He says "I am looking forward to joining a market leader and such a forward thinking company. In my previous role I was in the AV industry dealing with products for a distributer, so I have a good knowledge of Crestron's solutions and the market. I am looking forward to extending upon this knowledge and developing it further, to make a name for myself in the industry."

"We are excited to welcome Alistair Kelly to the Crestron team," comments Phil Breitschadel, UK Sales Manager at Crestron. "Alistair has a wealth of experience in the AV industry from his previous role, and prior to that, in the technology industry, which will hold him in great stead for the position." Alongside Alistair's appointment Crestron has welcomed back Peter Brown as a Business Development Manager for Scotland and Ireland, also based in the Scotland office.

Peter's role will be to develop and assist Consultants, Architects, Interior Designers and End Users with designs and specifications for all Audio Visual, lighting, full building management and energy monitoring solutions. He has worked within the AV market for almost ten years and comments, "I feel that my previous experience of working with Crestron and the additional knowledge of working for a Crestron Dealer will give me a good background on how the market works from both angles. Crestron has grown their product range dramatically over the past couple of years which has opened up opportunities to develop into new markets. I believe Crestron has a great story and it is one that I am looking forward to promoting."
