Core Brands today announced that the group has named Chris Bundy as its director of marketing communications.
PETALUMA, Calif. -- Dec. 10, 2012 -- Core Brands today announced that the group has named Chris Bundy as its director of marketing communications. Bringing more than 12 years of A/V marketing experience to Core Brands, Bundy is charged with developing and delivering innovative branding, marketing strategies, and product launches across ten brand lines within the home and commercial technology sectors: ATON(R), BlueBOLT(R), ELAN(R), Furman(R), Niles(R), Panamax(R), Proficient(R), SpeakerCraft(R), Sunfire(R), and Xantech(R).
Bundy comes to Core Brands from Atlona(R), where he served as director of marketing for five years before being promoted to director of product marketing. While with Atlona, he was instrumental in the inception and development of the brand into a $35 million signal routing and management provider. In addition, he established a presence in the A/V trade press by authoring articles and conducting interviews with several leading publications. Prior to Atlona, Bundy served as director of marketing at Lenexpo Inc. He began his career in the A/V industry as a lead audio technician for Riverview Systems Group, Inc.

Actively involved in the A/V community, Bundy is a member of CEDIA, CEA, InfoComm, and ISO. In 2010, he was named as a Custom Retailer Young Turk of CE, and was listed on DealerScope's Top 40 Under 40 in 2011.
Bundy is located in Petaluma, Calif., and reports to Paul Starkey.
