With the introduction of the new DVI Extenders over Fiber Optic cable, KVMSwitchTech is providing stability and security to remote administration and observation environment. Unlike traditional Cat5e/Cat6 DVI Extenders these Fiber Optic Extender units are ready for industrial and test environments where electromagnetic interference may be a concern. Each display and the USB signal is driven by an independent Multimode Type LC cable. These extenders are available in single, dual, and quad port configurations which allows for systems with multiple displays at resolutions up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz.

Because they are designed to be a complete remote administration solution, these DVI Extender solutions include a 4 port USB 2.0 hub as well as a RS232 and stereo audio port. These features combined with automatic learning DDC mean that all your devices will be fully supported with plug and play functionality regardless of operating system platform.
