PSB Builds on Success of Award-Winning M4U 2, Expands Headphone Offerings with New Model and Designer Colors

Affordable M4U 1 Combines Outstanding Performance and Simplicity

CEDIA Expo Indianapolis, Indiana September 5, 2012 -- PSB Speakers, long renowned for affordable excellence in loudspeaker design, announced a more affordable version of its highly-acclaimed M4U headphone. The M4U 1 features the same outstanding sonic performance and comfort of PSB's first headphone but without amplified and noise canceling modes.

Ergonomically, the new PSB M4U 1 still features a tangle-free cord and gyro-suspended ear pads for remarkable comfort for hours on end. Easy folding for convenient travel and storage, the new PSB headphone also comes standard with a deluxe travel case and plug adapters.

The M4U 1 is the perfect choice for the music lover who doesn't require noise canceling and prefers to provide their own amplification yet demands outstanding performance and value.

According to PSB Founder and legendary speaker designer Paul Barton, "Our first headphone the M4U 2 has enjoyed a fantastic reception since its introduction a year ago. One recurring request we have had though was to make a simpler version for those who primarily listen in quiet environments and/or may have their own headphone amplifier. For those listeners, the M4U 1 will give them the same great PSB performance and comfort but at a lower price. Of course, for some, headphones are as much about fashion as sound so they asked us to offer our headphones in exciting colors. For them, we are pleased to announce M4U models are now available in a variety of colors."

Since its introduction at CEDIA 2011, the PSB M4U 2 has been critically acclaimed for its outstanding blend of performance, features, comfort and value and called one of the best overall headphones on the market. It was also honored with a CES Innovations Design & Engineering Award, the EXC!TE award from Custom Retailer magazine and is a finalist in the Resi Awards.

M4U 1 will be available in November in Baltic Gray or Monza Red gloss finish with high-gloss headband and brushed aluminum accents for $300 MSRP. Along with its current Black Diamond finish, M4U 2 will be available in Arctic White in November at the same $400 MSRP.

Key Features of the PSB M4U 1:

· Award-winning sonic performance

· Unique dual input connection (left or right)

· Tangle-free cord

· Gyro-suspended ear pads: extra set of ear pads supplied.

· Easy folding for travel and storage. Comes supplied with travel case.

The PSB M4U 1 and new colors for M4U 2 will be featured on display throughout CEDIA Expo at Lenbrook # 3649. Personnel from PSB will conduct demonstrations and answer questions on the new headphones as well as many other fine products from PSB and sister company NAD.
