Company hires Stardraw.com founder and acquires technology to expand hardware options
Jacksonville, OR, USA - August 29, 2012 - Global Cach�, the award winning provider of IP and WiFi-enabling products for homes and businesses, today announced the appointment of David Snipp to the position of Global Cach� Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Snipp founded and acted as CEO for Stardraw.com, developer of award-winning software applications including Stardraw Design 7 and Stardraw Control.
Additionally, Global Cache acquires intellectual property from Stardraw.com consisting of Stardraw Control's technology, including more than ten years of accumulated IR codes, a substantial library of RS232 drivers, and a new, cloud-based architecture or web services platform. The talent and technology acquisitions will enable Global Cach� to rapidly expand services and hardware products offered to the Company's extensive partner channel.
Snipp is an accomplished technology leader and brings valuable engineering and business management experience to Global Cache. He will be instrumental in generating new products and guiding development strategy as the company continues its rapid growth. In addition to Snipp's Stardraw experience, his background includes roles as Development Manager at Microsoft, responsible for Windows printing, and senior software engineer and architect of major components of Windows NT.
