Crestron ADMS-G2 blends entertainment with technology to bring the world's digital content into your home
Now Includes VUDU® and Three Pandora® Zones to Give Users the Largest Selection of Online Digital Entertainment Content
Crestron today announced the release of its new ADMS-G2 Intermedia Delivery System™, the next generation of the media system that redefines the way users experience today's digital content at home. In addition to the wide selection of popular online entertainment content that ADMS users have always enjoyed, ADMS-G2 now includes the wide selection of streaming movies from VUDU® and the expansive personalized song libraries of Internet radio provider Pandora®. Experience Pandora like never before by listening to a different Pandora station on three different speaker zones.
Smaller, more energy efficient, and lower-priced than ADMS, ADMS-G2 streamlines the way homeowners select, access and enjoy all of today's media, from movies, Internet TV, home videos, and Internet radio programs to CD's, photos, and the Internet. Users can now enjoy their favorite online and streaming entertainment content from their home theater or multiroom audio system from the same intuitive onscreen menu without ever exiting the ADMS environment or opening a separate application.
"It's a digital world now and entertainment systems should accommodate all online content from one user-friendly platform," said Fred Bargetzi, Crestron VP of Technology. "Until ADMS, nothing could. Some will let you watch Internet TV, some let you listen to Internet radio, and some give you streaming experience, but only the ADMS-G2 can give you all three in one system. And for such a powerful, all-encompassing multimedia system, it's incredibly easy to use."
Entertaining at home has never been this amazing
ADMS-G2 opens the door to the vast universe of digital content and brings it directly into your living room with push-button simplicity. Find and play the content you want, when you want it - in stunning high-definition - without the limitations and boundaries with other systems. With a simple keyword search, quickly access and play virtually any type of entertainment, online content, or media format from a wide variety of digital sources and online content providers.
Giving you the power to acquire and manage virtually any content you desire is what ADMS-G2 is all about. Users can rent or purchase movies from Netflix® and VUDU, stream videos from YouTube®, and Vimeo®, listen to Pandora Internet radio, and watch your favorite news, sports, and TV shows through Hulu® and Hulu Plus, Metacafe®, ESPN®, CNN®, NFL®, NBA®, ABC News, and numerous other top providers. Enjoy up to three different Pandora stations at the same time from separate rooms through each of its three zone outputs. Built-in web browsing completes the experience, giving you full access to all the Internet has to offer without leaving the comfort of your couch.
"The Pandora experience you get from ADMS-G2 is like nothing else available," Bargetzi said. "You can listen to one Pandora station in the theater while the kids listen to another Pandora station in zone 1 and choose to listen to songs from your music library in zone 2, all at the same time. Three Pandora stations in three separate zones simultaneously. You'll make everyone happy when hosting parties and large family gatherings."
Find any digital title from any media source, fast
The built-in award-winning WorldSearch® performs fast, accurate searches and instantly displays the results in an easy-to-navigate graphical onscreen menu. WorldSearch collects and displays the full spectrum of available content related to any keyword, and selections are displayed based on relevance and quality. Simply enter a title, actor, or any other subject and you're instantly gratified with an organized list of relevant content including full-length feature films and TV shows, clips and trailers, outtakes and interviews, and song tracks. Find a specific TV episode or viral video, explore everything there is to know about a certain celebrity, and the watch the making of the latest blockbuster movie. WorldSearch finds exactly what you want, plus a wealth of other related media to enhance your enjoyment and expand your knowledge.
"We're living in the digital age where the selection of music and video content is so abundant, but also very fragmented," Bargetzi says. "All these separate platforms force customers to choose, and usually they have to sacrifice something when making that choice, whether it's content or ease of use."
ADMS-G2 replaces the disc players, media servers, HTPCs and set-top boxes that you used to need, providing one elegant, integrated solution for accessing all your high-definition movies, music, Internet TV, home videos, photos, and Web-based content.
"Before the ADMS, accessing all available content not only required several set top boxes, interfaces, players, and remotes, but if one provider doesn't have the title you want, you have to perform multiple searches on each system until you find the title you're looking for," explains Bargetzi. "WorldSearch not only delivers the content you're looking for quickly and easily from one menu, but it also finds incredible related content you didn't even know existed, whether it's on a local hard drive, network, online store or the Internet."
