U.K. Electronica/Dance Band to Use M-10x E Power Conditioners on April 2012 U.K. Tour
PETALUMA, Calif. -- April 26, 2012 -- Furman today announced that U.K. electronica/dance band Hadouken! is taking the company's Merit Export Series M-10x E power conditioners on the road for its April 2012 U.K. tour.
Since 2007, Hadouken! has achieved commercial and critical success with its albums "Music for an Accelerated Culture" and "For the Masses," and toured with the likes of Pendulum, Example, Professor Green, and Plan B. The band earned a reputation as a live act not to be missed after playing a packed schedule of major festivals including Radio 1's Big Weekend, Carling's Reading and Leeds, Underage, and Relentless NASS.
To ensure memorable performances on its upcoming April 2012 U.K. tour, Hadouken! is using multiple Furman M-10x E power conditioners provided by distributor Fuzion Ltd. The units will provide the band's wide range of sensitive equipment with noise-free power for optimal performance on 13 tour dates, while protecting components from damage caused by surges and other power anomalies from venue to venue.
"As a dance act, trying to recreate the tunes from the studio in a live format means we're reliant on a lot of technology on stage," said Hadouken! bassist Chris Purcell. "We chose Furman power conditioners as our insurance policy to keep that technology running exactly as it should."
Ideally suited for professional commercial installations and music industry applications, the M-10x E single-space, rackmount power conditioner offers surge/spike protection, AC noise filtration, and a robust steel chassis. The unit provides 10 filtered and protected rear-panel outlets with a front-panel convenience outlet and "Protection OK" indicator light.
