At ISE 2012, Genelec, the leader in active loudspeaker systems, will be showcasing its range of audio solutions for the commercial installation market, as well as running free, on-booth training sessions that are open to all delegates attending the show. Products on display will include the full 4000 Series active loudspeakers, including the new 4040A, as well as the 1238CF, a 3-way monitor designed for a wide range of professional applications. The training sessions will let integrators get hands-on with products and see demos of acoustic simulation software for the fixed installation market.

"It's nice to be offering something at bit different at ISE 2012," says Terho Savolainen, Marketing Manager at Genelec. "Practical training in audio installation can be really useful and ISE is the perfect platform to reach integrators. Although the training sessions are going to be relaxed affairs, the content is going to be targeted at giving attendees the confidence to tackle all types of audio installation. Our 4000 Series is the perfect loudspeaker product for this market and in partnership with our training and technical support we have the perfect offering for the market."

The newest model in the 4000 Series is the 4040A which performs to the same high level as Genelec's studio products but offers some more power for the installation purposes. With its large tweeter and powerful amplifier, it is designed for applications such as large conference rooms and auditoria and gives an unprecedented level of clarity and SPL (Sound pressure Level) for perfect sound reproduction in the most demanding speech amplification projects. Like all products in the range it is fitted with 'Phoenix' screw terminals in common with the leading products in the audio visual sector. This feature ensures an easy, secure connection and interference-free, professional quality sound.

A new addition to Genelec's award-winning DSP range of monitors is the 1238CF. The latest model to benefit from Genelec's future-proof DSP technology, the 1238CF, is a 3-way monitor designed for professional applications that demand excellence in audio monitoring. The 1238CF is also compatible with proprietary Genelec Loudspeaker Manager™ (GLM™) control software and can be combined with Genelec 8200/7200 Series products in the same control network. The automatic control and calibration functionality provided by the GLM™ software with the Genelec AutoCal™ algorithm, allow for precise matching of the loudspeaker system to different acoustic conditions with just a few mouse clicks.

Audio Course attendance is free; delegates just need to turn up on the day to join a session. All attendees will be entered for a prize draw to receive a 6000A - TUBE, Genelec's, limited edition, unique take on the desktop loudspeaker: To pre-register for a free ISE Audio Installation Session, email
