The HDMI Fiber Extender Kit (500460) allows HDMI equipment to be connected up to 1,000 ft (300m) via one (1) multimode fiber strand in a point-to-point configuration depending on resolution. The kit comes with one (1) transmitter, one (1) receiver, IR Sensor (500998), IR Emitter (500999) and two (2) power supplies.

Developed for the commercial AV and digital signage markets, the HDMI Fiber Extender allows one HDMI cable to be replaced by one (1) multimode fiber. The 500460 supports up to 1,000 ft (300m) via a single multimode 50 um/125 um fiber. Furthermore, the 500460 supports IR remote and RS232 control for more advanced applications.

The HDMI Fiber Extender Kit comes with a two (2) year warranty and complies with HDMI 1.3a and FCC Class A standards.

The HDMI Fiber Extender Kit streamlines cabling in applications such as commercial and residential AV systems, industrial megapixel video, classroom projector systems, digital signage, interbuilding AV systems and medical video systems. The product enables the benefits of fiber by providing greater noise immunity and greater distance versus conventional copper cabling for a more robust HDMI cabling solution.
