HDBaseT Alliance to Demonstrate Home Networking and Commercial Installation Use Cases at ISE 2012

Demonstrations at the European event will highlight a home theater, whole-home network and an HDBaseT surveillance camera

HDBaseT Alliance, the cross -industry alliance formed to promote and standardize HDBaseT™ technology for whole -home and commercial distribution of uncompressed high definition (HD) multimedia content, today announced it will demonstrate home networking and commercial installation use cases at ISE 2012 in Amsterdam, Jan. 31 -Feb. 2, 2012. Participation in ISE is part of the Alliance's geographical expansion in 2012 to meet the growing demand for HDBaseT technology. Representatives will be onsite to showcase how HDBaseT is applicable to a variety of European market segments, including home theater, digital signage, projection and hospitality.

The demonstrations will feature the full HDBaseT 5Play™ feature set - sending full, uncompressed HD video, audio, Ethernet, power (100W) and controls over a single 100m LAN cable. The Alliance will also showcase products supporting HDBaseT from various member companies including Atlona, Crestron, Cypress Technology, Kramer Electronics, Microsemi, Nexus Technologies, Silvertel and Structured Cable Products.
