Tributaries® Launches the ‘Triple Threat’ In-Wall Power Management Outlet

Tributaries® Cable unveils their latest AC protection product delivering a triple UL certifications, the Tributaries® PWRI-PRO in-wall power management outlet.

Orlando, FL - September 2011 - Tributaries® Cable continues its quest to push standard for high-performance, high-value accessories for custom home audio and home-theater installations, with their latest AC protection product delivering a triple UL certifications, the Tributaries® PWRI-PRO in-wall power management outlet.

TRIBUTARIES® PWRI-PRO In-wall AC Power Management Outlet is one of the most advanced in-wall power outlet systems available today - currently the only in-wall unit to receive three extensive UL® certifications*. With an impressive joule rating of 1440, the compact PWRI-PRO was designed to be installed in-wall behind a flat panel TV or in-ceiling near a projector where, normally, space is limited for AC power management devices. With the PWRI-PRO integrated into a home entertainment system, customers can be assured that their audio/video components will have a clean source of power, free of signal degrading noise and distortion. By using the latest MOV technology, the X3 MOV, the TRIBUTARIES® PWRI-PRO provides surge suppression of damaging spikes and harmful surges. Over-voltage and under-voltage protection is also included - if the line voltage increases above 135V or falls below 90V, the PWRI-PRO will disconnect until the line voltage returns to a safe level.

"Once again, Tributaries' is thrilled to offer an industry first with three extensive UL certifications on our in-wall power manager," said Joe Perfito, President of Tributaries. "A homeowner's safety is number one priority when designing a convenience product like this. We are dedicated to putting the safest possible product on the market, allowing our dealers to deliver to their clients' peace of mind, that the proper authorities have rigorously tested and approved this model."

By providing AC line filtering and conditioning for two in-wall outlets, TRIBUTARIES® PWRI-PRO greatly reduces the noise generated on the electrical grid or electrical noise from in-home appliances either of which can adversely affect your audio/video experience. For ease of use, the PWRI-PRO features LED indicators for operation modes. In support of environmental protection, the PWRI-PRO is RoHS compliant.

The PWRI-PRO is now available with an SRP of $200.
