The next generation, fully functional process control platform provides a robust and centralized platform that offers full programmability and flexibility, and allows for dense and mixed I/O in one unit for total system cost reduction and energy efficiency.
The ECM2 offers a real -time OS, an interlock board for safety I/O, and on -board, easily accessible analytics, from standard SPC to advanced model -based control algorithms. Mixing analog, digital, temperature, serial, and safety (rated to IEC 61508 SIL3 classification), the ECM2 provides a more flexible environment as well as ease of programming via standard, commonly used programming languages, including Matlab, C++ and Ladder Logic.
Its powerful processor provides faster communication over multiple protocols, and its customizability at a standard price and lead time facilitates critical time to market goals. The ECM2 control platform replaces standard control system architectures with a single robust node that provides common and full programmability as well as advanced diagnostics to ease troubleshooting. It also offers a very high I/O to price ratio and customizable distribution.
