Lutron Releases Version 5.0 of RadioRA® 2 Design and Programming Software
Coopersburg, PA (September 7, 2011) - Light control manufacturer Lutron Electronics is pleased to announce the release of version 5.0 of the RadioRA 2 Design and Programming Software. This latest release includes support of new products, like Sivoia® QS wireless cellular shades, as well as simplified programming techniques.
RadioRA 2 offers convenient, one-button control of lights, shades, temperature, and small appliances, offering enhanced energy savings throughout the home. Pressing the goodnight button, for example, could turn off all interior lights, lower all the shades, turn off energy-hogging devices like AV equipment, monitors and plug-in fans, plus adjust the temperature by five degrees. The system controls 60%* or more of a home's energy use, including lights, shades, stand-by power from small appliances and temperature.
The newest version of the RadioRA 2 design and programming software, version 5.0, offers:
device activation using serial numbers
support for the low-light feature on Radio Powr Savr® occupancy sensors
the ability to disable/enable occupancy sensors and the "Green" button by time of day
remote limit setting for shades
enhanced bill of materials report with filtering capability
support for the new Pico® wireless controls
support for the new Radio Powr Savr sensors
support for the new Sivoia QS wireless cellular shades
global scene programming (available in the Inclusive version of the software)
RadioRA 2 is scalable to 200 devices, operates via Lutron's Clear Connect™ wireless, RF technology, and can be easily installed in any home. It can also be controlled from keypads and mobile devices, including the Apple® iPad™ and Android devices.
