Extend VGA signals up to 2,000 ft with New Tripp Lite Solutions

Tripp Lite has introduced a new series of VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Solutions designed to receive and re-transmit VGA and VGA plus Audio signals over long distances.

Chicago, IL (August 12, 2011) - -Tripp Lite, a world -leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity products, has introduced a new series of VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Solutions designed to receive and re -transmit VGA and VGA plus Audio signals over long distances.

The Extender/Repeater Kit features a local transmitter unit and a remote/repeater unit, allowing a signal to be extended an initial 1,000 ft. Remote/repeater units can then be connected, allowing the signal to be regenerated an additional 1,000 ft., with up to five monitors (one local, four remote) located at different points in a daisy -chain of up to 2,000 ft. Installation is cost -effective and simple with Cat5e/6 cable, allowing for inexpensive installation for digital signage applications in classrooms, retail environments and more.

VGA over Cat5 Extender/Repeater Kit (Models B130 -111 and B130 -111A)

* Kit includes one local transmitter and one remote/repeater unit
* Extends VGA signal up to 1,000 ft. at 1024 x 768, while allowing for further expansion
* Features Equalization and Gain controls
* Model B130 -111A features VGA plus Audio signal transmission

VGA over Cat5 Remote/Repeater Unit (Models B132 -110 and B132 -110A)

* Daisy -chain unit for increasing the number of connected monitors
* Up to four remote units can be daisy -chained with a maximum distance of 1,000 ft. between the first and last remote unit in the installation
* Model B132 -110A features VGA plus Audio signal transmission
