July 11, 2011 -New York, NY -Meridian's flagship DSP8000 is featured in the new comedy Horrible Bosses, from Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema, now showing nationwide.

The Meridian DSP8000 is the ultimate expression of the art and science of loudspeaker design. Meridian's flagship digital active loudspeaker sets completely new standards for clarity, dynamics, imaging and realism. It is one of the few loudspeakers in the world that can accurately reproduce both the power and subtlety of a concert grand piano.

About Horrible Bosses
Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis star as three pushed -to -the -edge workers who realize that the only way to make their daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option so, with the benefit of a few -too -many drinks and the dubious advice of a hustling ex -con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employerspermanently. But, even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them. Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey star as the unbearable bosses and Jamie Foxx as the plotters' unlikely mentor. The main cast also includes Donald Sutherland and Julie Bowen.

This feature film joins the growing list of titles in which Meridian product has been seen on the big screen: The Hangover Part II, Limitless, Love and Other Drugs, Dinner for Schmucks, Get Him To The Greek, Date Night, Just Wright, Our Family Wedding, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Cop Out, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Old Dogs, What Happens In Vegas, Bride Wars and Jumper.
