Global Caché and Freewill Automation Form Partnership

Freewill Automation and Global Cache' facilitates iPad installations with services for installers and dealers

Jacksonville, OR - January 31, 2011 - Global Caché, the award winning provider of IP and WiFi -enabling products for homes and businesses, announced today they have formed a partnership with Freewill Automation, a unique company focused on supportive services for custom installers interested in deploying high -end automation and control solutions based on an iPad user interface.

Global Caché products physically connect diverse devices throughout a home and business to WiFi and Ethernet networks so they can be controlled, automated, and maintained by network -based software, including apps and utilities residing on a handheld device such as an iPad, iPhone, or Android smartphone. Global Caché provides IR learners, sensors, IR receivers, an IR blaster, and other WiFi and IP -enabling products to connect stand alone devices and systems to a network. Global Caché products are engineered to work with other standards based products.

Freewill Automation, based in Los Angeles, provides software, programming, network, and consulting services to technology integrators and dealers moving from traditional proprietary system installations to iDevice systems.

Freewill Automation's co -owner/operator, George Borghi, says, "We're excited to partner with Global Caché in providing high -end residential and commercial automation solutions. It's nice to be in a position to offer sophisticated software -based control interfaces that require no expensive, proprietary automation hardware." George also added, "Our competitors, such as Crestron, AMX, and Savant, are each in the business of selling hardware that ultimately adds considerable cost to any project with no advantage, be it, functional, performance or aesthetic. This is the future, and we are pretty excited to be part of the leading edge of the direction our industry is moving. Our experience of actually doing many of these installs successfully puts us in the best spot to provide services such as programming and consulting to custom installers."

Robin Ford, VP at Global Caché, said, "George, Brian, and their team bring a unique skill set and experience which our dealers and installers can really use. Very early on they recognized the trend to use the iPhone and iPad in control environments; not just as a front -end to a big expensive system, but as the actual control system. They've successfully deployed some amazing installs and are now offering their experience and expertise to installers who want to move in that direction. I know our installers are going to want to talk to them."
