The newest additions to the wall furniture family are designed to perfectly complement the latest slim TVs and install without hassle.

OmniMount, the global leader in consumer and commercial A/V mounting and furniture solutions, is pleased to introduce the Blade Series - the next generation of wall furniture. Adding to its already popular Moda Series wall furniture and Tria Series shelving systems, this new line is designed to perfectly complement ultra thin TVs and built so one person can install it quickly and easily.

The popularity of the wall furniture category has grown, as consumers are looking for a hassle -free way to organize audio/video components and cables, as well as free up floor space. While there are several competitive wall furniture options on the market currently, the Blade Series offers specific advantages that make the new line stand apart: an unmatched low profile, which is slimmed to fall along the same plane as the latest in flat panel TVs and wall mounts, like our new LED Series, and it's uncomplicated installation, designed to be mounted simply, in a few easy steps.

The Blade Series consists of two models, Blade1 and Blade2, their names representing the number of shelves offered in each one. Both feature the slimmest wall furniture profile available, at an astounding 1.13" deep. The frame ships as one piece, ensuring a quick and easy install for even the most timid do -it -yourselfer. The tempered black glass shelves are designed deep enough to accommodate most any size DVD player, cable box and video game consoles up to 35 lbs. Integrated cable management behind the covers allows cables to be concealed without running them inside the wall. While the satin black finish is complementary to the technology it supports, the covers are paintable to match any wall color.

"OmniMount pioneered the wall furniture category years ago, so it's fitting that we're the ones to bring the most updated innovations to market," said Zach Eyman, the general manager of furniture and business development for OmniMount. "With the Blade Series, we kept in mind the importance of the wall furniture to mount along the same plane as the TV and low profile mounts, offering the most refined appearance - forward -thinking designs like this are in our blood," he continued.

Proudly designed and engineered in the USA, these new wall furniture pieces are scheduled to hit the market in Q1 of 2011.
