CEDIA ASIA PACIFIC ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD AT AGM

Three new members step up to leadership roles in the industry as Len Wallis of Len Wallis Audio moves to Chairman of CEDIA Asia Pacific following election results to the Association's Board revealed at this year's AGM.

Three new members step up to leadership roles in the industry as Len Wallis of Len Wallis Audio moves to Chairman of CEDIA Asia Pacific following election results to the Association's Board revealed at this year's AGM.


As the driving force behind his company for more than 30 years, Len Wallis will bring invaluable experience to his position as head of CEDIA Asia Pacific. He is joined on the Board by Clare Ward from another ESP (Electronic Systems Professional) Member, AVARNTI whilst CEDIA members have also elected Alexis Caldwell from Trade Supplier Member, LeisureTech. Don Mackenzie from Queensland -based Home Theatrix will continue on the Board in the role of Immediate Past Chairman.

"It's an honour to be elected Chairman of CEDIA's Asia Pacific Board" says Len Wallis, CEDIA Chairman. "I'd like to thank all those who members who voted for me and look forward to building on the excellent work of my predecessor. At a time of significant opportunity, I want to make sure that CEDIA members are in the right shape to grow their businesses and benefit from the value that Association membership brings".

Stepping down from the Board is Peter Greentree from Len Wallis Audio who has been serving as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer and Simon Wehr who has re -located to the US.

"Volunteering to be part of the CEDIA Board demands considerable commitment" comments Stephen Miller CEDIA's Executive Director. "We welcome our new Chairman and fellow Board members and look forward to what we're sure will be their positive contributions in the future. We also say goodbye to Peter and Simon both of whom have dedicated endless hours of time to the industry and, on behalf of CEDIA Asia Pacific, I'd like to thank them for their dedication and their work."
