MuxLab S -Video/Audio GLI Balun Helps Eliminate "Hum" Bars

MONTREAL - MuxLab Inc, a recognized leader for its connectivity solutions; announces its new S -Video/Audio GLI Balun (p/n 500018) for the audio -video and structured cabling market. The S -Video/Audio GLI Balun (500018) allows one S -Video channel plus one stereo audio channel to be transmitted via Cat5e/6 cable and features Ground Loop Isolation (GLI) to help eliminate "hum" bars. Only one 500018 is required per connection and may be used in conjunction with MuxLab's 500016, 500017, 500038 and 500200.


The S -Video/Audio GLI Balun is recommended where ground loop issues are present or of potential concern and may be applied in applications such as residential, classroom and boardroom AV systems.

The product features one built -in (1) 6" S -Video cable lead, two (2) RCA jacks for stereo audio and one (1) RJ45 connector for twistedpair. The 500018 also includes one 6" dual RCA audio jumper cable. The S -Video/Audio Balun works in conjunction with PCs, laptops, LCD projectors, DVDs, AVRs, satellite receivers, audio -video switchers, servers, splitters, boosters and scan converters that support S -Video and stereo audio.
