D -Tools Announces 2010 Project:SUCCESS Finalists

Chosen finalists reveal impressive stories and projects utilizing D-Tools Award-winning System Integrator software. Prizes were donated by D-Tools MVP Partners Atlantic Technology and Universal Remote Control.

CONCORD, CA, JUNE 22, 2010 - D -Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, is pleased to announce the finalists of the 2010 D -Tools contest, Project:SUCCESS. This contest recognizes excellence in system integration projects utilizing D -Tools System Integrator software. D -Tools held the contest to pursue SI5.5 users' greatest success stories about how the software has positively affected their business and returned a significant ROI. Success stories of some of most distinguished system integrators were submitted by the D -Tools user base. The contest is sponsored by D -Tools MVP Partners Atlantic Technology and Universal Remote Control.


The six finalists were selected by the D -Tools Marketing team and were judged on a number of criteria, including originality, project complexity, use of D -Tools' software, and which stories best communicate the user's expertise of the software.


The 2010 Project:SUCCESS Finalists:

Mike Koellsted of Solaris
Since Solaris implemented D -Tools, the company has grown into a global company, expanding operations from their San Jose, CA location into Mexico. Solaris has also experienced a substantial increase in profitability directly attributable to their use of D -Tools SI5.5.

Luke Nelson of Vanns
The use of D -Tools SI5.5 has allowed Vanns to be more efficient, more profitable and has allowed them to take on larger projects than in the past. Their impressive contest entry included project design and details about a 24 hour health club project that integrated audio/video distribution and a communication system throughout the whole facility.

Rich Hoppe of Multi -Media Solutions
Based in North East Indiana, Multi -Media Solution's knowledge and expertise of D -Tools software landed them not only one but two opportunities to design and install all the systems for largely recognized franchises. They consistently win bids over competitors because of their straightforward, uncomplicated, yet clear and concise system designs created with D -Tools.

Brady Elsenpeter of Jbecher & Associates
Jbecher & Associate's proposals are at such a professional level that jobs are won easier, saving the company time on bidding. Their clients are impressed with the proposals, thus they are able to sell additional products to their customers. D -Tools SI5.5 has helped Jbecher & Associates reduce the time spent creating proposals by half, while revenues and profit per project have increased significantly.

Eric Crawford of Home Theater & Automation, LLC
D -Tools SI5.5 has allowed Home Theater & Automation to properly track the installation time on a rather large project. As the project progressed and they began placing purchase orders, D -Tools demonstrated it's true value. SI5.5's full integration into QuickBooks allowed them to easily generate POs specifically for this job, making it easy to specify what was ordered and nothing extra, creating a detailed record of the project and enabling them to more accurately track costs.

Scott Hovhannissian Limelight Systems
When bidding for a high -profile job, having been a longtime D -Tools user, Hovhannissian was able to see missing pieces and potential conflicts of competitor's proposals that he had avoided, which gave him the upper hand. They were able to put together a comprehensive design that can not only be presented as a whole, but broken up to present to each department involved. D -Tools SI5.5 provided an easy way for Limelight to stay one step ahead of the competition.
