PPC(R) Introduces New PRO(TM) Line of High -Quality, Low -Profile Connectors and Cables for Live Events, Studio, and Commercial Applications

Flexible, Time-Saving Devices Allow Solderless, Customized Cable Lengths Perfectly Suited to Each Unique Venue Without Sacrificing Signal Strength and Retention

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. - - June 9, 2010 - - PPC(R) today introduced its new PRO(TM) line of connectors and cables designed to provide flexibility for A/V professionals at live events, in the studio, and for commercial installations. The devices allow for solderless, customized cable lengths suited to every run and venue, saving installers time and hassle in the field while reducing human error. Unlike typical bulky solderless connectors, the PRO devices feature a compact, low -profile design while providing the same signal strength, integrity, and mechanical retention of soldered connections.

In the past, A/V professionals working in the field or in the studio had the choice of either soldering or using pre -made jumpers to get a customized cable length. However, soldering is a time -intensive and often difficult process, and pre -made jumpers can contribute to signal loss and diminished audio quality if they are too long. The PPC PRO line addresses these issues by providing a quick, hassle -free cable perfectly suited to any professional application.

For foolproof installation, PRO connectors properly align the wires and terminals, creating a perfect connection every time and reducing human error. The PRO cables' shielding extends all the way through to the plug to reduce noise, and its rugged metal braid is capable of sustaining high -tensile loads. The PRO line also features a moisture -proof connection, providing immunity to humidity or water submersion.

"We are delighted to introduce our new PRO line of cables and connectors, which directly address a number of issues that have long plagued A/V professionals in the field," said Eric Bodley, vice president and general manager of consumer electronics at PPC. "During setup at live events, different cable lengths are required to suit each venue. With our PRO line, A/V professionals can easily create custom -length cables without soldering, saving time and reducing errors."

PPC's PRO line features compression connectors for XLR; ¼ -inch mono and ¼ -inch stereo/balanced connectors; as well as RCA, BNC, and F -type connectors. In addition, the PPC PRO lineup includes new, specially designed cables and installation tools for use with the connectors, making a perfect system for perfect sound.

PPC PRO cables and connectors will be available in Q3 2010. More information about the devices is available at www.perfectpath.com.
