RTI Names Brian van der Hagen Its New Commercial Market General Manager

Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today announced that it has named Brian van der Hagen as the company's new commercial market general manager.

SHAKOPEE, Minn. - - June 7, 2010 - - Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today announced that it has named Brian van der Hagen as the company's new commercial market general manager. van der Hagen brings a wealth of experience in the commercial market to his new role at RTI, where he will be responsible for the sales and marketing activity of RTI's control solutions in the U.S. market.

van der Hagen comes to RTI from AMX(R), a respected control system manufacturer, where he served as director of strategic accounts for the past three years. Previously, he held the position of regional sales manager for Visitec Marketing, where he represented a variety of product lines for commercial integrators, and served as technical services manager for AVI Systems, Inc., a well -respected systems integration firm. van der Hagen began his career in 1991 as an account representative for Blumberg Communications in Minneapolis.

van der Hagen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Saint John's University in Minnesota. He will be based in Shakopee, Minn., and report to Pete Baker.
