HAI Adds Zektor as Connectivity Partner

Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced that the integration with Zektor is complete, and a Connectivity Partnership has been formed.

The new integration allows for HAI home control systems to connect with Zektor's Clarity Elite Active Matrix Switches for A/V control. This partnership furthers both companies' goals of serving high -end residential and commercial installations where 24/7 reliability is crucial.

"We have been working diligently with HAI to include our family of premium component matrix switch products", states Jeff Haynes, VP Sales and Marketing at Zektor. "Zektor has a loyal following of professional integrators across the U.S. that has long desired to be able to integrate our products with the widely used products from HAI", adds Mr. Haynes. "The past two years have been an unprecedented time in our industry and the overall economy. Most integrators are working with fewer resources and require that for consideration into a proposal or project, your products must have verified controller modules ready to go", continues Jeff Haynes.

"HAI is pleased to be expanding our Connectivity Partner program to include Zektor", explains Scott Dudoussat, HAI Director of Technical Services. "HAI's 1000 -plus dealers in over eighty countries are looking for more possibilities to make their jobs easier and to further integrate audio/video controls into their home automation installs."

The integration is made possible using Zektor's Clarity Elite 8x8 or 8x4 Active Matrix A/V Swith with an HAI home control system. All of HAI's Omni and Lumina home control systems easily integrate with Zektor's Clarity Elite series and requires only a Serial Cable, and PC Access Software for installation.

ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events. ELK-C1M14GSM supports GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) networks and ELK-C1M1CDMA supports CDMA (Verizon) networks.
