Toronto, Canada - GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) is offering its fiber optic digital video transceiver module available in either stand -alone or rack mount card versions. The transceiver is designed for use in closed -circuit TV (CCTV) and traffics monitor systems; it is especially ideal for transmission of video over one -way optical fiber. The hot -pluggable design and a wide dynamic range of 20dB provide great convenience for installation, maintenance and operation in fiber optic applications.

The all -digital video transceiver module, model GFS128, allows proper system operation even in complex electromagnetic environments and requires no electrical or optical adjustments in field operation. It uses 10bit/20MHz sampling technology for digital encoding; it also provides BNC video connection, ST optical connection and DB9 data connection. The optical, high -speed synchronous transmission channel ensures the quality of video signal. This fiber optic digital video transceiver incorporates an LED indicator for monitoring of system operations at any given time. The transceiver supports NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats.
