Northridge, CA (September 1, 2009) - PCS (Powerline Control Systems, Inc.) the inventor of the ultra -reliable UPB Technology, is proud to announce the PulseWorx Remote Access Port (RAP) Software Suite and Network Device Server. This Ethernet -to - serial interface, (Model NDS -1111 -PW) is now available and ready for immediate shipment.

PCS will be showing the RAP Software Suite and Network Device Server in Room C304 at CEDIA in Atlanta, GA September 10th -13th.

The RAP Software Suite is based on a host server/client topology which creates a virtual COM port on any computer to allow UPStart, or other software, a secure SSL communication path thru the Remote Access Port Server, to the deployed NDS -1111 -PW's from anywhere an Internet connection is available.

The NDS is simple to install and configure. Connect it to our PIM -R or any serial device and plug it into an active network. You do not need to be an IT expert, know how to forward a port, or open up a firewall; configuration is all browser -based.

"Integrators are looking to be more profitable in these tough economic times. A 'virtual service' call can save hundreds of dollars in time, energy and gasoline." said Scott Klodowski, Director of Sales and Marketing," We are delighted to offer an internet based recurring revenue solution which enables remote programming of PulseWorx Lighting Controls or any one of their other systems, without having to roll a truck!"
