Atlanta, GA; CEDIA 2009; Booth #1559 - H -P Products, the only CEDIA CEU (continuing education unit) Provider for central vacuum installation, will once again hold a seminar during CEDIA Expo. All CEDIA integrators know that ensuring your customer's satisfaction with any system starts with professional installation and service. In today's challenging marketplace, integrators can't afford any mistakes. A system that is installed properly will reduce callbacks, minimize service calls, increase overall satisfaction of the product and result in a higher volume of recommendations for both the dealer and the product.
At this year's CEDIA Expo, attendees have the unique opportunity to learn proper central vacuum installation from Chris Slackford, Training Manager for H -P Products, manufacturer of the Dirt Devil® and VACUFLO® central vacuums. An industry expert, Slackford is a tremendous resource for dealers with his vast knowledge of central vacuum installations. He has traveled extensively through the U.S. and Canada to help central vacuum dealers and installers maximize their installation efficiency and profit margins.
This year's seminar will feature the installation of both the Hide -A -Hose hose management system and the Vroom™ quick clean accessory. These hose management systems are among the hottest items in central vacuums today and dealers should be aware of their installation procedures. This will give dealers first -hand knowledge of these popular technologies and help reduce their installation times of these products in the future.
The seminar will begin at 10:00 AM on September 9 and last approximately 1.5 hours. Slackford will lead attendees through classroom training with a simulated installation wall for reference. The class will cover the planning, rough -in and finish stages of installation and give participants the tools and tips they will need to perform a professional central vacuum install. In order to qualify for .50 CEU credits, installers must achieve a score of 80% on a written exam following the class.
Whether an integrator is new to central vacs, interested in Hide -A -Hose and Vroom installation or just wants a refresher course on proper installation techniques, they are sure learn something new at H -P Products' Installation Seminar.
