Borg Displays, Inc, the premier innovator of affordable in -wall embedded touch controllers, announced today the addition of Intel's Atom processor on both the Protégé8™ and Protégé15™ touchcontrollers. Additionally, the capacitive bezel buttons are now configurable to URL, Windows HotKeys, hardware shortcuts and/or application execution. Application developers can access the button state for optimal interactivity in their embedded applications. Additionally, the new XPe firmware supports screen saver management and User Manager for multiple user/password options. Finally both Protégé platforms sport VGA output for displaying the screen contents on a remote device.
