HAI Releases Version 3.1 Firmware, Includes Lutron HomeWorks® Integration

Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced the release of Version 3.1 controller firmware for its Omni and Lumina home control systems, which adds the Lutron HomeWorks® integration.

HAI has expanded its Lutron RadioRA partnership with the new HomeWorks integration. Integrating the Lutron HomeWorks lighting control system provides wireless or wired sophisticated lighting and window shade control (using Lutron's Sivoia Quiet Electronic Drive Roller Shades) with seamless integration in either new or existing homes.

Integrating any lighting control system, including HAI's Lighting Control, enhances the enjoyment and value of the home, adds security for peace of mind, and contributes to savings on energy bills. Additionally, integrating with an HAI home control system provides the ability to change light settings by time of day, a set schedule, triggering of events (including motion), telephone call, Touchscreen, Smartphone, or computer connected to the Internet.

"The HomeWorks addition provides even more options to our growing list of lighting Connectivity Partnerships. HAI strongly believes in providing a proper solution for every home, which often requires mixing different manufacturers' products," explains HAI President, Jay McLellan. "HAI continues to develop and nurture valuable partnerships with industry leaders."

The Lutron HomeWorks integration can be easily added to either the OmniPro II or the Lumina Pro home control system with a free firmware update for current registered users with flash -updatable controllers.
