North Andover, MA - February 17, 2009 - L -com Global Connectivity, a leading manufacturer and distributor of HyperLink brand antennas, amplifiers, waterproof enclosures, and other wireless connection equipment, announced their new 2.4 GHz 9 dBi Omni -Directional Antenna with 7° Down -Tilt.

The HyperGain® HG2409UDT -PRO high -performance down -tilt Omni -directional antenna provides 9.0 dBi gain and a down -tilt of 7° for long -range, downward biased pattern to aid in Omni coverage in the close -in areas of applications. This includes point to multi -point systems, and wireless bridges in the 2.4 GHz ISM band as well as IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g. It can be installed for coverage over a wider low angle range than a conventional Omni -directional antenna.

This 9dBi Omni -directional antenna's construction features a stainless steel base, fiberglass radome and rugged mounting hardware for superior strength and light weight installation. The antenna's integrated connector permits simple installation and ease of hookup with the systems radio.

The HG2409UDT -PRO compliments the successful family of broad coverage antennas that include the popular Sectorial Omni -Directional Array and panel antennas, such as HK2414 -090 and HK215 -180 models, offering customers the option to select the antenna that best fits their network and communication requirements.
