Universal Dimmer Expands Lighting Control for Wide-Range of Voltages and Larger Capacity

ROCKLEIGH, NJ, January 27, 2009 - The CLS -EXP -DIMU universal dimmer expansion module is the latest addition to the Crestron Green Light™ family of environmental controls. The CLS -EXP -DIMU enables Crestron iLux™ integrated lighting systems and other Crestron lighting dimmers to add reverse phase type loads. It also supports larger loads and a wider range of voltages.

The CLS -EXP -DIMU simplifies installation by auto -detecting the dimmable load type and selecting the appropriate operating mode to control that load. It supports both forward and reverse phase type loads, including electronic low -voltage, magnetic low -voltage, incandescent, neon/cold cathode, or 2 -wire dimmable fluorescent.

A single model manages 120, 230, or 277 volt loads up to 16 amps, and as many as five expansion modules can be connected to a single iLux dimmer channel.

The CLS -EXP -DIMU is wall -mountable, and is also plenum -rated for installation above a suspended ceiling.
