Minicom Unveils Fully -Digital AV Extender at Integrated Systems Europe

Minicom Digital Signage will be displaying for the first time in Europe, its new, fully-digital DS Vision® HHDMI, at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Amsterdam, taking place at the RAI Centre on 3 - 5 February, 2009.

Zurich, Switzerland (January 28th, 2009) - Minicom Digital Signage, the leader in "last mile" player -to -screen connectivity platforms for the digital signage market, will be displaying for the first time in Europe, its new, fully -digital DS Vision® HDMI, at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Amsterdam, taking place at the RAI Centre on 3 - 5 February, 2009.

The unique DS Vision® HDMI not only extends but also distributes real -time, high -definition digital AV from a single player to multiple screens located up to 250 meters/825 feet away. "This is the perfect solution for digital advertising in retail locations, informative communication in corporate settings or in quick service restaurants where screens strategically repeat content," says Amir Ginossar, Minicom's Product Manager. "Distribution is done by cascaded repeaters that transmit the signal from one screen to the next. And all this is performed over a single, low density, CAT5 cable. This simple, smart solution will help customers save costs and simplify installation".

A live demonstration of the new HDMI/DVI extender can be seen at Unicol's booth, a leading manufacturer of screen mounts. "We are honored that Unicol and other leading digital signage manufacturers and solution providers have chosen our solutions to deliver their content in such an important show as ISE," says Björn Christiansen, Minicom's Sales Director for DACH Projects. "Our international digital signage team will be on hand in Amsterdam, celebrating our successful partnerships and revealing very exciting news to the industry".

High quality content distribution by Minicom Digital Signage solutions, including the award winning DS Vision® 3000 system, can be seen at the following booths:

• Unicol - booth 11K49
• NEC Display Solutions - booth 5O94

ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events.
