LAS VEGAS (CES Booth #11017), Jan. 7, 2009 - The 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will unveil a completely new line of televisions, portable electronics and technologies by Haier. As the Official HDTV of the NBA, Haier will showcase a broad array of LCD high -definition televisions, including new designs and features.

"CES 2009 is Haier's most extensive new product launch in our 10 -year history," said Michael Jemal, President and CEO of Haier America. "Haier will be showcasing designer -influenced styles and features for our HDTV lineup, as well as highlighting the expansion of our portable media devices, including a suite of new portable media players aligned with Rhapsody® music service."

The new line of high -definition televisions is a major step in the evolution of Haier home theater entertainment. Haier's HL47XT1 and HL42XT1 have the full HD 1080p experience with 120Hz Refresh Rate technology, SRS TruSurround XT Sound and four HDMI inputs. The "Sound Chamber" hidden speaker with separate bass port, tweeter and mid -range speakers will bring sound to life.

The new Designer Series of LCD HDTV's is primed for any television upgrading. The 22" screen is perfect for any bedroom, office, dorm room or kitchen and comes in multiple colors to match your décor. The uniquely -styled compact cabinet offers space -saving style that fits comfortably into smaller areas. With the HDMI, PC and Composite inputs, you can hook up your television to cable box, video games, Blu -ray or DVD players, video cameras, computers and more to get the best entertainment possible.

Haier portable electronics is unveiling over 30 new products, from noise -canceling headphones to Bluetooth wireless products and battery chargers. Haier has expanded the Rhapsody® -compatible devices, with the touchscreen ibiza™ Theatre, ibiza™ Sport and ibiza™ Trainer, with a built -in heart rate monitor and pedometer. A new line of Haier digital frames includes an 8" wifi frame with 2GB memory, and portable Haier LCD TV/DVDs round out the portable electronics collection offerings.
