SAN JOSE - October8, 2008 - Atlona Technologies announces the release of it newest audio/video extender. The AT -VGA180ASR is a VGA plus stereo audio extender, which is capable of transmitting resolutions up to 2048x1536 at a distance of 180M (594FT). These new extenders feature an adaptor type design, allowing them to connect directly to the VGA port on your source and display. The AT -VGA180ASR is the world's smallest AV extender; the main body of this product is as big as a VGA connector.
The send unit draws its power directly from one of your computers USB ports eliminating the need for a bulky power supply. An 1/8 inch stereo audio cable (m) connects to your computer's headphone jack, allowing the simultaneous transfer of audio and video over a single CAT5 cable. The receiver unit features a simple Video EQ to adjust image quality to best suit your display. Both send and receiver units feature LED indicator lights so users can easily check system status at a glance. Connecting your computer to a remote display has never been easier! These new sub -micro extenders require no software installation, and support Universal Plug & Play. They are compatible with any CAT5/5e/6 (UTP/STP) cable.
