Nexus 21 Introduces Innovative TV Lift for Flat Panels at CEDIA Expo 2008

Nexus 21 exhibited their innovative TV Lift products at the CEDIA Expo. They are a popular choice among AV Pros because they are compact, near-silent, and very affordable. New products this year are TV Lifts that swivel and a clever new shelf system.

For the fourth year running, Nexus 21 exhibited innovative ideas for TV Lift products at the CEDIA Expo. Based in Scottsdale Arizona, this manufacturer designs its products using compact telescoping columns, rather than gears and tracks, to lift flat panel TV's. Surprisingly powerful in spite of their low profile, the Nexus lifts can smoothly raise and lower TV's with screen sizes as large as 65".

Received at the Expo with even greater enthusiasm than in previous years, the Nexus products have gained huge popularity among AV Pros because of their compact size, near -silent operation, and affordable price -points. Many integrators and retailers are finding that, for a surprisingly low cost, they can use TV Lifts to add a memorable "special effect" to their projects.

Nexus 21 also displayed new products at the Expo this year, including TV Lifts that swivel and a clever new shelf system. Hitting a very attractive price -point, the Nexus swivel lifts combine vibration -free lift technology with a 180 -degree swivel function that is manually operated. "We chose to provide a manual swivel instead of motorizing it." says company VP, Cory Lovett. "We know there are some high -end clients who insist on motorized swivels, but we have found that, given the difference in cost, most choose a manual one. This way the client can still enjoy a motorized lift with swivel function, without adding $1,500 that other manufacturers charge for their motorized swivels. As far as we know, ours is the least -expensive swivel lift on the market today."

The new Nexus 21 "Component Shelf" makes it easier to locate the components, like DVD players and cable receiver boxes, close to the TV. The shelf sits just below the TV and allows the components to ride up and down with the lift. There is even a swivel version of the shelf, so clients can turn their TV and components together into the best viewing position.
