GefenTV Premiers Digital Connectivity Solutions for Consumer Applications

Gefen's new GefenTV line of products allows consumers to take full advantage of digital, high definition video systems in their home entertainment and home theater environments.

The GefenTV HDMI v1.3 Repeater sits between two HDMI cables, transmitting up to 1080p full HD from the source over two HDMI cables to the extended display with no signal delay. Support for expanded HDMI v1.3 features includes deep color with Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio formats.

The GefenTV HDMI v1.3 CAT -6 Extender is a sender/receiver system that uses industry -standard CAT -6 cabling to extend HDMI v1.3 up to 30 meters (98 -feet). At this distance, 1080p full HD supporting deep color is delivered with zero signal loss; resolutions up to 1080i can be extended up to 50 meters (165 -feet).

The GefenTV Extender for HDMI Long Range uses one CAT -5 cable to transmit HDMI up to 150 meters (492 -feet) for a flawless remote performance. With this long -range solution, the standard cabling can deliver HDMI with 1080p full HD.

The GefenTV Audio Processor is a unique solution that accepts one HDMI source from compatible Blu -ray players, gaming systems and set -top boxes. The processor delivers two mirrored HDMI outputs, each delivering decoded audio for audio devices and/or audio and video in the HDMI format supporting 1080p full HD. The processor provides
eight discrete RCA audio connectors, and eight mirrored 8 -channel outputs with 50 watts per channel amplification that support Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic II, AC3, DTS Express, DTS ES and DTS 96/24. Users can also use the S/PDIF input and TOSlink output for digital audio connections aside from the 8 -channel audio
