Power management
Due to the increase of energy prices and concern for the environment Minicom has created a solution called PowerOnCable™ that increases Lifespan/Slashes power costs of LCD, Plasma and Projectors. Simply Connect PowerOnCable™ to Minicom's DS Vision® 3000 system and power on/off LCD, Plasma and projector display devices that do not have their own serial ports for communication with DS Vision® 3000. PowerOnCable™ will radically improve display device lifespan and reduce power consumption costs.

Remote support
What are you going to do when your mission critical media player malfunctions in the middle of a public environment? You can't simply take out a ladder and bring in a repairman for an hour or two to fix it in front of your viewers. Minicom's solution enables you to troubleshoot your Digital Signage player anytime from anywhere in the world. Simply connect PowerOnCable™ to Minicom's IP gateways (IP Control™ or PX) for full power control of mission critical Digital Signage (on/off, reboot or even unfreeze).
