San Jose, CA - May 21, 2008 - Atlona Technologies has become well know as a leading manufacturer of video extenders. The recently brought a solid HDMI single CAT5 extender to the market, and have now set there sights on DVI. "The new AT -DVI150SR is much more than you average extender" says Atlona's Product manager, Michael Khain. "It will not only extend DVI up to 50 meters at hi resolutions, but has a built in booster and equalizer." The booster will allow users to connect an additional 25 meters of DVI cable to the receiver end of the AT -DVI150SR. The device also features a "loop out" for connecting a local monitor. This extender uses two CAT5 cables, one for video and stereo analog audio information, and another for DATA such as EDID and DDC information.

The AT -DVI150SR is fully HDCP compliant and can easily connect to a Blu -Ray player or other High Definition Copyright Protection compliant device. It also supports DDC, EDID and hot plug detection. This extender is designed for simple set up and, with its full range of compatibility, will work with pretty much any DVI application.
The AT -DVI150SR is expected to start shipping by late June, with a MSRP of $379.00, and will make its Debut at the 2008 InfoComm Tradeshow.
