Sunnyvale, California and Tokyo, Japan - May 22, 2008 - SiBEAM, Inc. the leading innovator of millimeter wave (mmWave) semiconductor solutions and developer of high -speed wireless communications platforms, today announced the establishment of SiBEAM Japan K.K. and the appointment of Mr.Yuzo Tsukui as the President and Representative Director for SiBEAM Japan K.K. Additionally, after an extensive review process, SiBEAM also announced Microtek, Inc. and Innotech Corporation, as the official distributors for SiBEAM products in Japan.
Formation of SiBEAM Japan K.K. reflects the company's commitment to serving the Japanese market and the unrivaled interest of Japanese consumer electronics companies in SiBEAM's wireless semiconductor solutions for transmitting HD content based on the WirelessHD™ specification.

Yuzo Tsukui Joins SiBEAM, Inc. as President of SiBEAM Japan K.K.
SiBEAM named Yuzo Tsukui as the new President and Japan Country Manager. In his role, Tsukui -san will drive business development initiatives and oversee sales and distribution for SiBEAM in Japan.

Mr. Tsukui is an expert in the semiconductor and electronics industry. He joined SiBEAM, Inc. from Silicon Optix, a leading provider of video processing solutions for consumer electronics products, where he was the Senior Director of Japan Sales. Before that, he held sales and management roles at companies including AMD and Vitesse Semiconductor, a developer of semiconductor solutions for Carrier and Enterprise Ethernet networks. His accomplishments at Vitesse Semiconductor earned him a Phoenix Award for single -handedly rebuilding the company's Japanese market and growing revenues from $13M to $40M.
