PMA/PGW Offers Expert Training On The Power of Acoustics in System Design

Florida specialty distributor continues popular TLC-IV dealer education program with new sessions scheduled for May 14 & 15

LUTZ, FL - May 2, 2008: Perpetual Marketing Associates/PGW Distribution (PMA/PGW), a leading Florida specialty sales representative & distribution company, announced today it has scheduled new sessions of its popular TLC -IV dealer education program for May 14 & 15 at its facility in Lutz, FL (outside of Tampa). The theme for these new sessions is "Acoustics - Getting the Best Sound Out of Your Room" and will feature a keynote presentation by acoustics expert Mr. Terry Hill of PMI, Ltd.

PMA/PGW's TLC dealer education events (TLC stands for Travel, Learn and Communicate) feature limited seating, multiple hands -on education sessions providing a more personalized learning experience for attendees. Sessions are structured around industry subject -experts who provide detailed and valuable information during the day and also participate with attendees in after -hours fun events offering an opportunity to build lasting relationships.

The keynote speaker for these sessions is Mr. Terry Hill, General Manager of Performance Media Industries (PMI), a company that specializes in consulting with installers and integrators on acoustical issues in system design. PMI was founded by Tony Grimani, a well known industry personality and former executive at Dolby Laboratories and LucasFilm THX.

According to Hill, many integrators and installers underestimate or otherwise fail to appreciate the substantial effect that acoustics has on the overall impact of their installations. In a session titled "Acoustics - Getting the Best Sound Out of Your Room," Hill will address issues including: the science of acoustics, how to properly plan for the effects of acoustics, and practical solutions to common acoustical issues.

The May agenda will also include informative presentations from top executives with manufacturers including Jamo, Energy, PSB, Audyssey, and EZBracket.
