New 'daisy chain' transmitter from Smart -e is ideal for meeting rooms

Leading AV distribution and switching equipment company Smart-e Limited has launched a new transmitter for daisy chain applications, providing a cost-effective Audio Visual solution for meeting, board and training rooms.

The Smart -e SLX -2112 transmitter allows the selection and distribution of up to 32 multi -format video and audio inputs to a single projector, or display and speakers, located at a total distance of up to 200 metres over CAT 5* cable.


The system provides a cost effective solution for selecting multiple sources to a single display. Each transmitter can be connected in series with each other, creating a simple and flexible daisy chained CAT 5 cable system.

The unit features selectable RGBHV, Y/C or CVBS, has auto -sensing input override, ''show -me' button override, HDTV 720p, 1080i and 1080p, supports up to 1600 x 1200 UXGA and includes IR and a simple selection control via RS232.
