Partnerships With MCM Electronics and In Tandem Canada Are First Step in ITC's Strategy for Worldwide Growth
IRVINE, Calif. - Feb. 12, 2008 - In a key step toward its strategy for worldwide growth, ITC (Instant Tool -less Connector), a division of The Quest Group (parent company of AudioQuest), today announced that it has extended the reach of its sales and support networks for its tool -less line of connectors in the United States and Canada. ITC has concluded agreements with well -known distributors MCM Electronics and In Tandem Canada. The partnerships will position the company for aggressive growth and enable it to tap the market demand for its products in North America.
Partnering with MCM Electronics and In Tandem Canada is a key step in introducing ITC's innovative solutions to the worldwide market. Current crimp and compression termination systems require multiple tools or dies. ITC's connectors, however, do not require a tool for termination. For residential and commercial A/V system installers, the ITC tool -less system reduces termination time, complexity, and failure rate for a savings of time and money.
"We have a long tradition of offering quality, innovative solutions, and ITC's line of tool -less connectors certainly meets that criteria," said Thomas Duff, product manager at MCM Electronics. "ITC is dedicated to providing products that save installers both time and money in the field, and we are happy to pass those savings on to our customers."
"ITC's products help us meet the needs of commercial and residential installers of A/V systems," added Terry Hawco, president of In Tandem Canada. "With installers, the bottom line is always a concern, so products that save time and money are increasingly in demand. With ITC's connectors, we can meet this demand and help installers cut costs without sacrificing quality."
Both companies are premier distributors that focus on providing innovative electronic components, equipment, and accessories for the consumer electronics industry. In the United States, Ohio -based MCM Electronics stocks more than 40,000 products from more than 600 quality vendors and has access to more than 1.5 million electronic parts and related products. Guelph, Ontario -based In Tandem Canada is a leading Canadian distributor and national sales agency, currently representing more than 20 leading brands and manufacturers of select custom A/V products.
"We are very excited to have our product line represented by such distinguished distributors as MCM Electronics and In Tandem Canada," said William Low, CEO of The Quest Group. "These partnerships are a key step in moving forward with our growth strategy. The established relationships these distributors have, along with their reputations for quality and ability to service companies, will be invaluable to us as we penetrate the consumer electronics market in the United States and Canada."
