Intermatic is sharing booth No. 20419 at the CES Expo with the Z-Wave Alliance, which is at the heart of InTouch's wireless technology.

Spring Grove, IL - (January 4, 2007) - Intermatic introduces three new products for its popular -selling InTouch wireless controls system, launched summer 2007, that allow users to "set the scene" inside their home from the comfort of their own vehicle. InTouch Wireless Gateway, InTouch 3 -Button Keyfob Control and InTouch Wireless Conversion Module will be on display in booth No. 20419 at the 2008 International CES Expo, the world's largest consumer technology trade show, Jan. 7 - 10 in Las Vegas.

The InTouch Wireless Gateway (CA8200) gives users greater control of their InTouch system by allowing them to activate and deactivate scenes from the comfort of their vehicle using either in -headliner mounted garage door opener buttons or the optional keyfob remote. This gives users greater peace of mind knowing they'll never have to enter a dark garage or home again. Additional features include:
• Three preset scenes for control
• Compatible with popular in -headliner mounted garage door openers
• Stand alone operation; will control loads directly without the need for an InTouch Scene and Status Server

InTouch 3 -Button Keyfob Control (CA5300) allows users who do not have in -headliner or compatible garage door opener controls to use the InTouch Wireless Gateway. The unit is for use with the InTouch Wireless Gateway only and cannot directly control any of the InTouch devices.

InTouch Wireless Conversion Module (CA8250) allows the InTouch 3 -Button Keyfob Control or in -headliner control to operate with any garage door opener.

Intermatic is sharing its booth at the CES Expo with the Z -Wave Alliance, which is at the heart of InTouch's wireless technology. InTouch controllers, switches, receptacles and remotes are 100 percent compatible with a growing number of Z -Wave enabled control products. Z -Wave networks have many features, including operating in the 900 MHz band to provide a penetrating signal and deliver reliable communications among devices, uses advanced networking functions to overcome noisy RF environments, and has 4.2 billion unique network identity codes to provide a secure network.
