DisplayPort Cable is New Addition to Ethereal's EXS Series

Cable supports new digital display interface

HOLLY HILL, FLA., DECEMBER 26, 2007: Because an increasing number of flat -panel LCD TVs are incorporating PC features to function as multimedia displays, Ethereal is meeting their connectivity needs with its new EXS -DP2 DisplayPort cable.

DisplayPort is a new digital display interface standard established by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). It defines a license -free, royalty -free, state -of -the -art digital audio/video interconnect intended to be used primarily between a computer and its display monitor, or a computer and a home -theater system. Widely supported by the PC industry, DisplayPort is poised to replace VGA and DVI connections.

Exclusively designed and manufactured by Ethereal, the EXS -DP2 provides true digital audio/video delivery and high -speed connectivity that exceeds industry standards. The 2 -meter cable features a latching connector that provides a secure connection to the display.

The EXS -DP2 is part of Ethereal's top -of -the -line EXS Series of HDMI and audio cables.
