Cost -Efficient Cabling for Commercial and Residential AV

Montreal, Canada - MuxLab Inc (www.muxlab.com), a designer and manufacturer of audio -video connectivity solutions for copper twisted pair, announces its latest product for the commercial and consumer audio -video industry…..The Component Video/Analog Audio Balun (500052, 500053).

Developed for commercial AV integrators and custom home installers, the Component Video/Analog Audio Balun allows one full YPbPr/RGB video channel plus one mono Hi -Fi analog audio channel to be connected via Category 5 copper twisted pair cable in a point -to -point configuration for neater and more efficient cabling.

The Component Video/Analog Audio Balun supports video formats 480i/p as well as high -definition 720p and 1080i/p, thereby allowing Cat5 UTP to be used with satellite receivers, cable boxes and other HDTV sources. The product supports an additional analog audio connection for commercial and residential AV systems and features a modular RJ45 connector for ease of installation.

In regard to distance performance, the Component Video/Analog Audio Balun supports up to 500 ft via Cat5 in 1080i (HDTV) mode for maximum versatility in most multi -room applications.

Along with this release, MuxLab is also introducing the 500051 which is a variant of the 500050 with RCA -F connectors.
