NETSTREAMS ANNOUNCES NEW DRIVER FOR SECANT SECURITY

New DigiLinX Driver is Plug-n-Play, Offers Two-Way IP to RS-232 Control

AUSTIN, Texas, - August 31, 2007 - NetStreams™, the global leader in networked audio/video distribution based on Internet Protocol (IP), has released a driver for controlling SECANT home security systems via NetStreams' DigiLinX™ IP -Based Distributed Audio, Video and Control solution. Offering two -way IP to RS -232 control, the driver will be embedded in the NetStreams DigiLinX Dealer Setup program v2.0 and available to authorized DigiLinX dealers at the end of August.

Integrating SECANT's controller into DigiLinX is extremely easy. All an installer has to do is program the security controller, connect a NetStreams ControLinX™ via RS -232, select the driver in the DigiLinX Dealer Setup program. Once the SECANT security system is integrated with the NetStreams DigiLinX system, consumers can easily arm / disarm the security system from any NetStreams; TouchLinX™ in -wall LCD touch panel in the home or from a PC, MAC, wireless web tablet, or PDA connected to the network.
